Stuffed Dates With Goat Cheese and Thyme


Stuffed dates are ideal for a healthy snack or they can be prepared as an savory appetizer the next time you invite guests.


Ingredients:

  • 12 Medjool dates

  • ½ cup goat cheese (or cream cheese)

  • ¼ cup of finely chopped pecans

  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

  • Fresh thyme


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

  2. Slice dates lengthwise and remove pit, create an opening for the filling

  3. Stuff dates with goat cheese and sprinkle with finely chopped pecan crumbs and fresh thyme

  4. Place dates on a baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup

  5. Bake 3-5 minutes or until lightly golden, make sure they don’t burn

  6. Serve to your guests or keep dates in the fridge up to 3 days
