Creamy Date Butter

Dates provide energy, fiber, and an assortment of vitamins and minerals. How can we add more of this superfood to our life? By creating our own creamy date butter and adding it to our breakfast toast, coffee or favorite dessert.


  • 4 cups pitted dates

  • 1 1/2 cups water


  1. Boil water

  2. Add dates to a stainless steel bowl. Pour hot water over dates and cover tightly with foil or a lid.

  3. Let is set covered at room temperature for about 4 hours.

  4. Add softened dates and water to a food processor and process until smooth like butter.

  5. Add your healthy date butter to a glass container and refrigerate.
